Echo Intelligence / Public documentation

Acceptable use

A lawful purpose. A defined boundary.

Read the policy

The principle

Access carries responsibility.

Required boundaries for eligible public-record investigations.

Lawful, authorized purpose

Use must have a documented lawful purpose and institutional authorization. Public availability is not a blanket permission to collect, retain, infer or redistribute personal information. Confirm applicable law and necessity before a matter begins.

Prohibited collection and targeting

Do not bypass access controls, use credentials to obtain gated content, collect private messages or represent restricted sources as public. Do not use the service for stalking, harassment, discrimination or consumer monitoring. Enterprise brand monitoring and analysis is eligible only for verified large enterprises with a documented lawful purpose; consumer and small-business requests are declined.

Minimisation and analyst review

Limit collection and review to the relevant scope. Exclude unrelated sensitive material. Do not infer identity, wrongdoing, location or protected beliefs solely from public adjacency, shared phrasing or automated analysis. Record alternative explanations and corroboration.

Accountability

Queries, access, modifications and exports require attributable handling records and authorized roles. Do not disable accountability controls or share credentials. Deployment logging and retention controls must be demonstrated before operational use.

Reporting misuse

Report suspected misuse to contact@echointel.net with a non-sensitive description and references where lawful. Access may be reviewed under the agreed contract. This page does not promise a specific investigation procedure or response time.
